Andover - New offices for Andover Advertiser

Andover Advertiser returns to town centre

Pullen Associates have acquired new offices in Andover town centre on behalf of Newsquest for the Andover Advertiser.  The Advertiser has acquired offices in Union Street formerly occupied by a firm of solicitors.

Richard Pullen, Director of Pullen Associates says "that planning permission was granted by Test Valley Borough Council to change the use of the former solicitors offices at 2B Union Street to enable the Andover's only printed newspaper to return to the heart of the town.  This transaction goes full circle for the Advertiser".   Richard Pullen acted for them in 2000 when they relocated from The High Street to London Street and now, some 16 years later, they return.  The new offices will house 4 members of staff and the offices will also be used as a local shop and office to sell newspapers and periodical magazines.

The lease of the Advertiser's previous office in London Street came to an end and the staff have been operating from The Southampton Echo offices pending the acquisition of the new Andover offices in Union Street."
