Athenia House, Winchester - A New Refurbished office building for the city

Construction has commenced on the extensive refurbishment of a city centre office building in Winchester and is being marketed by commercial property agents, Pullen Associates, Warwick Martel and Goadsby.

Richard Pullen of Pullen Associates says ‘that Athenia House is coming to the market at a time when activity in the office market in the city is increasing.   The property is being refurbished by Struan Investments who refurbished the 6,500 sqft St Swithuns House, in the city last year and which was let soon after the completion of the works”

“Athenia House will be available for occupation in the summer and when complete the refurbished building will provide a prime 9,750 sqft (905.43 sqm) self-contained office building providing air-conditioned open plan offices on 4 floors.  The refurbishment includes a new lift, new double glazed and tinted windows, new WC’s, carpeting and disabled facilities plus many other important features.   The property is available to let as a whole but consideration will be given to letting on a floor by floor basis and therefore it will be of interest to a variety of businesses."

Richard Pullen of Pullen Associates says that “Athenia House is located in Andover Road and one of the key benefits of the building to a prospective occupier is the location of the property which is very close to the important city mainline railway station which provides easy access to staff commuting into the city and also those using the railway for business meetings in London and across the region.  The property also has the added facility of a large gated 46 space car park and it is close to the public car park in Andover.  It is a short walk from the restaurants and shops of the city and has good access to the M3 and A34 main roads.
